Like many of their popular lift kit systems, this SST lift kit is centered around .120 DOM tubular steel upper control arms. The ReadyLIFT team produced a superior arm that includes a repositioned ball joint cup angle to insure proper geometry and alignment. This translates into long tire life as well as responsive handling. Each arm includes a proprietary ReadyLIFT ball joint - the same heavy duty ball joints used in their 3/4-ton truck lift kits. Even better, these new upper control arms solve the factory control arm problem of the ball joints failure. And each arm includes new one-time grease Polyurethane bushings.
The 4 inches of lift height is achieved using the popular ReadyLIFT top mount spacer design. These CNC machined billet aerospace-grade Aluminum lift spacers feature a unique offset bolt design engineered to position the strut into the stock position. This translates into proper suspension clearance and guarantees your truck will ride like it was stock. Additionally, they include a machined billet pre-load spacer that installs between the top of the spring and the bottom of the strut hat to pre-load the spring. This also acts as a droop limiter which insures CV axle durability.
To lift the rear we include CNC milled solid billet Aluminum rear coil spring spacers with a built-in Polyurethane isolator for noise control. Additionally, you'll find front and rear sway bar drop brackets to aid with retaining proper sway bar angles.
All of this contributes to an excellent driving and handling suspension system that truly upgrades the venerable Dodge Ram 1500 4WD truck!
